The area surrounding the cottage is a great place to be for those of you who wish to do a lot of activities. From a gently walk to serious mountain biking throughout the hills you can enjoy passing through and viewing the immaculate scenery.

Britains most rare and stunning wildlife is found in the Elan Valley which is roughly a 60 square mile area. There are lots of footpaths and stunning forests to see and visit, quiet lanes and silent hills give a peaceful feel to the area. Hire a bike and travel along the paths and cycle routes around the area to get a view of the local wildlife.

The local leisure centre nearby has a gym, squash courts, a swimming pool and a solarium, all within 5 miles of the cottage.

Take a tour around the Royal Crystal which is a popular place for many people to visit, you can view showrooms where you can see how they make glass and the skill in blowing forms and shapes in to glass pieces.

Not too far away is a nature reserve with lots of unique wildlife in woodland, meadows, and moorland. Wildlife includes Otters, Polecats and other unique creatures in over 2000 square mile of countryside.

There are many places to visit, Brecon Beacons national park, Radnor Forest, Berwyn Mountains and the river valleys.
